Re: lb9 cam help

Yeah it should work. Although any time you change the cam you should consider getting a custom chip for your application.

The 1985 LB9's are unique because that cam is patterned after the L69 cam - which itself was patterned after the Corvette L82 cam.

GM 1985 LB9 Cam specs:

Part Number: 14093643
Cam specs: Lobe separation angle 114.5 degrees
Cam specs: 0.404 intake / 0.415 exhaust with 1.5 ratio rocker arms

The GM Performance Parts 290hp crate 350 has the same cam that came in the L82 originally I think.

Cam Part Number: 3896962
Cam specs: 222 degree intake / 222 degree exhaust
Cam specs: 0.450 intake / 0.460 exhaust with 1.5 ratio rocker arms.

Re: lb9 cam help

L69 AND 1985 LB9 cam are the same........same as the L81 Corvette Camshaft (1981 350 carb) not the L82 which has more duration.
