TPS Reading Backwards . . .
TPS Reading Backwards . . .
So in the ongoing saga I now have everything screwed together and ready to fire. However, my last steps were to install a battery, test everything, set the TPS, and go. However, the TPS I have (unknown origin, it was on the BBK throttel body when I got it used) reads ~4.5V at closed throttle, going to ~0.5V at WOT - - the reverse of what it should be.
Are there TPS's that read backwards to ours? Should I just grab a new one? Or could it be something else?

if the read back of the potentiometer is backwards out of the center of the tps the 5v ref and ground are swapped. if the tps feed back is a little over 4v while cranking injector pulse will stop the ecm will be in clear flood mode.

the top wire is black ground, center wire is blue feedback to the ecm, the bottom is grey 5v ref from ecm.
