Post Pictures Of Your TPI Engine.

I recently fixed several different parts on my 87 iroc-z28 350 5.7 due to it being parked for 7years & now i need help on where some vacuum connect to you.

Ex: standing in front of car to the left side is basically my issue. There are 2 hoses that come out from firewall i believe then one very small one from egr solenoid i believe.. Car stays idles between 2k-4,500k so im guessing its a leak somewhere..
Any help will be appreciated..
Thanks for those who have helped me on my other threads:-)

Re: Post Pictures Of Your TPI Engine.

Interesting diagram, and I'm referring to the vapor portion of it. Where did you got it?
I had some issues with my system where there was slightly high pressure in the fuel tank, so when it was full it would leak fuel from the opening. At first I thought the vapor system components were at fault, but everything tested good, and the only question mark left was a vent opening on the canister with a cap on it that I didn't know what to do with. This diagram actually have interesting routing for the vapor system where I can incopporate the vent outlet that is on the canister as well. I attached a diagram to how my vapor system is routed right now, any feedback would be appriciated.

You know what, I just noticed that, because the diagram show the canister on the left side not the right, but the routing should be the same no??
What did you thought about the vent outlet with the cap on the canister that I mentioned?

Re: Post Pictures Of Your TPI Engine.

HaHa....thats funny, are you still in the PDX area??
I will try the routing on the diagram you posted anyway I don't have anything to lose, though it is strange because most thirdgens TPI on the same years that came with this type of canister has the same routing as mine. I was wondering where did you got the diagram you posted, so maybe I can confirm that it does relate to the year of my car.

Thanks man!! This is actually the guy I got the diagram I posted from. He didn't know about the vent outlet with the cap as well. I will try the routing that was on the diagram you posted though.

I can post a picture, but trust me, with all the mess in the engine bay, a diagram would help you more. Maybe if you can post a picture of the 2 other hoses that you can't identify in their location, so maybe I can help you.
