question about 85 iroc 305 tpi air box?

question about 85 iroc 305 tpi air box?
ok i started putting my car pieces out and looking at them. i have the bottom part to the air filters where the actual filters sit but i dont have the top part where it connect to the boot to the throttle body. im not sure what this part is called and i was wondering what its called and if there is a better one out there for this type of car

is it u shaped or v shaped? either way if im understanding you right its just the top of the air box. you can find them at just about any salvage yard with third gen camaros. cheaper than online to. i bought one for my 89 iroc 305 for 5 bucks. post a pic if you can so i can see what exactly your refering to

This is the part you are looking for. Thankfully, as my98camaro pointed out, they are easily available in the junkyards as the 2.8L MPFI V6 used the same air box. I purchased my replacement upper piece for $10 locally, so you shouldn't have to shell out much for one.
