Has anybody added the dual air snorkel setup from a iroc z to a trans am l98 an can it be done i was thinking on using it with my hsr setup since i got one for free ???? Also what other stuff would need to be done to make it work ???

 

How is one supposed to put a carb air cleaner on a TPI manifold???

 

i feel like iv seen this before. exactly to the "t". dejavue? im not sure on using the snorkle on a bird because i dont know and havent tried. but you can use what was used on a tpi bird (the 90* elbow)

 

The big plastic Y intake duct will not fit under the bird hood unless you do some major cutting of the hood structures support area on both sides of the hood latch.
I had some pictures of one but cant find them.

 

Ahhhh so its not even worth doing is there any good flowing air intake set ups out there for our cars or did someone fab a custom to work. I was looking at the ram air box from hawks but for the price there insane

 

The best is the old SLP air box but you can only find them used, if your lucky..

 

I saw a old thread on here that the slp air box are just a hunk of plastic an that they were at total waste of money. I think im just gonna attempt to mAke my own ram air box out of sheet metal to fit a decent size air filter then save up for the ram air 2 82-92 f body hood or find one through craiglist

If you make your own, model it after the SLP box that works. ;-)

 

ahh and i got my slp cold air kit in the nick of time. i think i bought it in 06 brand new. it was like $250 if i remember right
