Re: missing on driver side only

Doing a cylinder drop will be a quick way to find the cylinder missing. Even if a injector is pulsing and has good coil resistance does not mean the filter basket or there could be crud in the pintle causing a lean miss.

While the engin is running use spark plug pliers and start pulling the plug wires off on 1,3,5&7 Each cylinder will drop about the same rpm. You are just pulling the wire off and reinstalling it. When you pull off the cylinder having the miss there will be no change. This can be done at the cap or the plug side.

Re: missing on driver side only

A infrared gun is another good tool the cylinder with the miss witch sounds like a lean miss so it is still firing will run hotter. You never stated how you were able to figure out it was on the drivers side or if you have ohmed the spark plug wires.

I checked the driver side with the heat gun and 1 5 7 is 450 about and 2 3 4 6 8. Is about 360 about so that would be my injectors wouldent it be goin bad
