lt1 throttle body?

Will a lt1 throttle body bolt on a 91 350tpi intake?

Bolt to yes, work no not without modifications to the iac passage. the triangle shaped area of the iac passage on the back of the tb needs to be notched so manufold vacuum can reach the iac. you would need to modify the linkage for a automatic tv cable as well.

Depends on the TB year.
'93 ( and '92 Vette LT1 ) had provision for the TV cable hookup

i was looking at a caprice with the lt1 and was planning to attempt to machine the divider between the throats out and make a new throttle plate for more air flow...since i have more time and access to a machine shop than money im wondering if this would work like having a bigger throttle body throat

or are the throats on the lt1 bigger in the first place

It is 48mm same size as the tpi.
