Not getting fuel to the Fuel line.

Hey guess sorry if this is a re-post.
So quick list of setup. 1990 iroc-z, engine swap to a 350 vortec engine. Has a new fuel line to fit the ram air intake. i upgraded the injectors to 24lbs.

In the back of the fuel rail there's a nipple, when depressed it should spray fuel. I here the fuel pump turn on when i turn the key over. However no fuel hits the line. The engine cranks and when i spray starter fluid in the fuel line it turns over. When it turns over it stays on for over 20mins. However it dosnt idle very well.

Any ideas?

Re: Not getting fuel to the Fuel line.

forgot to mention if continuously prime for maybe 30 mins i get the enough fuel to turn over. I checked the fuses for the injectors and they look good.

Is there any sensor that can be preventing fuel?

May sound like a dumb question, but have you ruled out a clogged fuel filter?

Re: Not getting fuel to the Fuel line.

All right i changed out the fuel filter and it took a 3 primes but the car turned over. I turned it off waited a few minutes and it took 2 primes but it turned over again. I checked the fuel rail and theirs some few that comes out of the bezel when its depressed. Should it come out with pressure? I just kinda dribbles out and theirs slight pressure behind it. Nothing like a mist or anything.
Could it be that the relay isn't giving enough power to the priming pump?

Re: Not getting fuel to the Fuel line.

There is a short piece of fuel hose on the fuel pump to the sender. Those hoses have been known to split, resulting in a loss of fuel pressure. Sounds like this might be something to check. If you replace it, be sure to use the right kind of hose, that is submersible in fuel ( spec is SAE 30R10)

Re: Not getting fuel to the Fuel line.

It's not your relay, if the pump turns on, relay is fine.

Pull the vacuum line off the regulator and smell it for fuel...the diaphragm may have dried up/ruptured/etc.
