Southbay AFPR
I've been seeing these but can't seem to find any reviews or feedback on thirdgen. Anyone run these? Are they easy to adjust? Any comments?

The screw adjustment on top is impossible to get too on the Southbay one..I swapped the scew for a bolt and now have no problems getting to it with an open end wrench...It is one noisy little sucker though. TAP TAP TAP. My old one did not do that.

Re: Southbay AFPR
Update... I just got my Southbay AFPR in the mail today and it came with a bolt, not a screw....
The AFPR is one of the first things I learned about, and one of the last things to do before paint... Though the Holley unit looks / operates very nice, it seems that every other person (or more) has had a problem with it, or multiple problems.... Thanks TGO for saving messages!
I bought Fuel Injectors from Southbay, my neighbor did too and an AFPR (over a year old), no problems from him or I, so I thought I would support them... their AFPR's come in brushed aluminum, red or black...

Best of luck with it... as noted, looks great... but I read too many bad reviews of people here with problems.... and though its easy to adjust... how often will you be adjusting it?
How long have you had it?

I hear you, however, sometime last year we were told about the difficulty with the screw. Ever since then we supply the regulators with a bolt. We try to tell people that if you are unhappy about one of our products or if there is something that we need to improve we welcome the feedback...as long as you're nice about it.

As far as the tapping sound, first time I'm hearing about that...can't imagine what is making the noise as there is nothing on or inside the regulator that's loose

I've heard that Holley has since revised the design since the original one was prone to leaking.

I read many times that the diaphragms would tear or came torn from the factory. As for the tapping, fuel injectors make a tapping or ticking noise.
