Re: Racetronix fuel pump kit

I'm not sure if your asking what wire goes to what side of the factory tank harness. But the red hot lead log your pump goes to the grey wire and black to black.

Re: Racetronix fuel pump kit

Thanks for the help man. Any idea how the bulkhead connector goes. Does it replace the factory harness on the sender?

Re: Racetronix fuel pump kit

racetronics has a forum you can sign up for free with proof of purchase. the kit says plug and play. this may be a generic picture, but the ecm needs to control the relay I assume the harness is ran on the sub frame to the old fuel pump relay connecter.

Re: Racetronix fuel pump kit

The kit comes with wires that replace those going from the bulkhead to the pump. What is the best way to ground that wire?

Post a pic and part numbers of what your replacing.

You could also E-mail them for the instructions. I thought they used to have them on the site??

Re: Racetronix fuel pump kit

Fairly certain your going to have to cut the ground wires to remove the old sending unit harness.
When you do, leave plenty of wire on the existing ground to splice your new connector back onto.

Re: Racetronix fuel pump kit

I've got everything going I just can't get my gauge to work. I am hoping its a ground. I have bought a new sending unit the original was very rusty. I am guessing it must be a ground. The kit comes with a band clamp that you put around one of the fuel lines on the sending unit to ground it. I have read about a ground at the back seat but I don't see it. Have any of you ran into this?
