FIXED: EGR delet, just block off intake?

I am doing southbay and I have access to EGR

I had 2 EGR diaphrams? one mounted to the intake with 2 ports and a sensor and a 2nd diaphram hooked up to one side of the vac port then other to the solenoid. IS this normal?

I have block off kit but I assumed it would have a plate for intake and 1 for exhaust. I do not see and exhaust port to the EGR? Is this ok can I just plate off the EGR at the intake, remove the sensor and vac lines and just remove in tuner pro?

Thanks that was it,

There are 2 holes on the intake ; one is the feed from from the exhaust port
and one goes to the intake
The EGR valve connects the 2 when it operates

The one block-off plate seals them both

You have the EGR valve located on the plenum
and the EGR solenoid that operates it by controlling the vac supply

Re: EGR delet, just block off intake?

I removed the runners and painted the valve covers
I am going to tape off the intake base and paint it all alumn before I swap injextors

I will polish the runners and polish top of the plenum and area and spray the rest in aluminum color

Re: EGR delet, just block off intake?

It wasn't a 2nd egr it was connects inline of the egr valve vacuum line. Maybe it was a vac booster for a worn out egr?

Yes I am removing the egr n solenoid setup
