Help hooking up tv cable to holley 52mm throttle body

I have a holley 52mm tb hooked up to my 350 tpi with an accel super ram intake. The problem I am having is trying to hookup the tv cable. It seems that I'm missing something or...? I don't know what I'm doing. I have ordered a new longer braided stainless universal tv cable from ebay, as the kit I ordered from bow tie overdrives, their cable was way too short even after specifying to them it was a tpi and needed to be extra long, and the bolt on adapter and linkages they sent were all wrong and would not bolt up to my holley throttle linkages, worse than that is I looked to see if it would bolt to my stock throttle body's linkage and it is so poorly made I'd have to cut down a couple tabs to get it to even fit as their "bolt on" cable attatchment to the linkage isn't machined proper. Overall everything they sent was wrong so I'll be returning it. But I still need a solution!

Now, when I look at the path the tv cable will take when hooked up properly, the big linkage (aluminium piece)for the throttle cable gets I'm the way as the throttle is depressed... Being like.... The throttle linkage enters the path of the throttle valve cable path. So am I missing something here? A holley bracket or what ? I have attached pictures of both the linkage at idle and wot....

Re: Help hooking up tv cable to holley 52mm throttle body

Above pic is idle (please ignore the current kickdown cable ran above the manifold).

Second pic is at wot, you can see how the alumini cam for the throttle cable enters the path for the tv cable.

Does anyone have any pictures of their holley tb's hooked up so I can see what it's supposed to look like? It almost seems like my throttle body is a different version then the others I have seen. Others I have seen just seem to all hook up proper and easy, just like the stock TB ...

Re: Help hooking up tv cable to holley 52mm throttle body

Sorry for my post changes. I just needed a place holder.

The TV cable should come up from under the throttle and cruse control cables and not over the top. You can see the large "square" opening for the TV cable in the cable bracket.

If you had the correct TV cable mounted in the bracket only the inner cable would extend from the bracket to the TB arm and not the entire outer sheath. The inner cable should then clear the throttle cable "cam", yes?
