Can TBI Engine Swap Into TPI GTA (considering a quick fix)

Car: 1987 GTA Vert & 1991 GTA 5 Speed
Engine: 87 GTA-L98 91 GTA LB9
Transmission: GTA-700R4 & GTA T5
Can TBI Engine Swap Into TPI GTA (considering a quick fix)
Want a cheap quick fix until I get an engine built and get other car from paint. May have a shot at free or almost free TBI.
Will a TBI motor go in my TPI car with no trouble, assuming I swap TPI stuff onto the TBI? Then I can cruise this car and not rush the painter on my other car.
What trouble awaits me if I pull the trigger on this? Any ECM issues? I will be pulling this engine out and putting a crate/rebuilt engine in next year so this is just a temp fix to a complicated situation.

It'll directly swap as long as they both have the center bolt heads. Since yours is a GTA and the said engine is TBI they both should. There should be any tuning issues with the swap since your keeping your TPI as long as the engines are the same CI.
