This guy claims that his 305tpi mad 375@5300 and 4000 foot pounds or torque. its through an automatic and has no headers.

So how likely is this story, he says he lost the dyno sheet in a flood.

With what appears to be a stock TPI system, I am doubtful.

Re: This guys hp claims.....

I may be mistaken but I believe Dyno Don and the Cali cars are putting down about 400whp in their 355's, but that is with HEAVY modifications.

Re: This guys hp claims.....

well, after debating for awhile, basically asking the guy for his cam/head/bottom end info, he wouldn't answer anything. He ran from the conversation and later deleted the thread....a few people were mad that the discussion never got finished.

do any of you guys follow third gens worldwide on facebook?

I hope that "4000" was a typo, if not, then he was most certainly lying thru his teeth. (keyboard? whatever.... )

I had a .030" over 305 built from the ground up as a performance build with TPI in mind. Put down 356 RWHP. It is the highest HP NA TPI 305 I know of.

Re: This guys hp claims.....

TPI motors feel powerful from the torque they can create so it makes it feel that high but with stock manifolds, there is no way its near 375 the manifolds are an even bigger bottle neck then the intake. And not to mention that that's a maf not map, the computer is not fast enough to comp for how fast the air is going through the maf into the engine when it is that close.

I used too, way to many "know it all people" that have no clue on there. I fairly certain that's a Mustang air filter.
