HELP!!! MY car runs pretty rich!
I have a 90 Iroc 305 TPI with 5 spd. I've done the ohms resistance reading on the injectors and they all check out between 16.5 and 17.1. Actually there's only two that spec'd at 17.1. Anyway, the car runs rich . I know this because I have an Auto meter air/fuel ratio meter in the car. While I'm cruising, the LEDs go to rich and sometimes stay there, rather than fluctuate. I've been having a problem (intermittently) with a misfire. It didn't do it at all today though. I'm going to try new plug wires, I don't see any arcing going on, but some of the wires are really close to the manifolds and could possibly be arcing, I just don't see it. Any ideas as to what I could check? I have an AFPR, should I turn it down some? I believe it's set between 39-42 psi. That only affects WOT right? Sometimes when I nail the gas, it would sometimes miss out. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Dude ... you need to fix your signature. There is no need for a signature that is over 45 lines long. That is absolutely rediculous.
My recommendation for your problem would be to first do a full tuneup with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, engine timed appropriately, and check your coil. A bad ignition system could cause the car to run rich because of the mixture not getting a good lightoff. Then check/replace the O2 sensor. Maybe it is just registering incorrectly. Finally, check/replace the FPR and injectors.

Thanks for your input, but you don't need to go off about my signature! I realize it's long, I didn't intend for it to show up, this is my second post since this past June, July, or so. It's just copied from my website. Again, I appreciate your input and thanks for trying to help!
