New guy here

Can't figure out why my ses light will not come on.
I need help. I know my bulbs are good. I tried jumping terminals A and B at the ALDL connector and nothing. Just purchased the car a few weeks ago. I trailered it home because it had a bad fuel leak. I have since replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rails, injectors, spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor and ignition coil. As far as I can remember the ses light came on before I started working on the vehicle. I did arc the hot wire on the back of my alternator. Could I have blown my ecu? My E brake and seat belt lights are not coming on either. Also one of my fans turns on with the key like in limp mode and none of my gauges seem to be working either. All fuses under the dash seem to be in working order. Please help me

Welcome to TGO!

There's a fuse next to the battery that powers the ecu.

Re: New guy here

I missed the part where all of those other things aren't working also. Start with the ECU fuse next to the battery, check that your grounds are tight, and if still nothing check the fusible links that come off of the starter (3 or 4 wires that are connected on the same terminal as the main battery cable).

Since it turns on and runs you can rule out all the things I told you to check haha. I was assuming the car was not running.
