Other options for thermostat housings

Will the LT1, TBI, etc housings be compatible with the TPI intake?
I just need the radiator hose to come in at a different angle and wanted to what my available options are on the market.

Re: Other options for thermostat housings

LT1 is not a consideration due to the reverse-flow cooling. TBI might work, but I'm guessing a custom fabrication or modification might be in your future.

Thnx for the reminder about the reverse flow cooling.
I have my old truck TBI housing. I havent tried it yet but I can already tell that its 45 degree neck will smack the LT1 TB throttle linkage.
I believe the TBI and 96-99 vortec housings can be swapped. So if a TBI and TPI can be, than Ill purchase a vortec and give it a shot. They look cheap. Attached is a pic of what the idea is.

Re: Other options for thermostat housings

Sweet i think it will work. The bolt holes had to be opened up but thats about it.
The 96-98 vortec is on the left. L98 in the middle, and truck TBI on the right. I have no idea what the camaro TBI one looks like.
But now with that radiator hose going straight out of the radiator, instead of getting in the way in front of the alternator etc, I think I can fit right next to it the CARB exempt 94-96 impala SS K&N kit so can pass inspection now.

Yes thats the 96-98 vortec neck. I decided not to go with it because I didnt want to run a hose like that. I made the TPI neck work.
