Fuel Pulsator Need?
I'm installing the Walbro 355lph internal pump to replace the 255lph that burnt up after 15 years. I left the pulsator in place before, but I was thinking of eliminating it in favor of using a tube of fuel line. Are there any problems anyone has experienced by doing this?

Re: Fuel Pulsator Need?
You' might getting some injector noise/clicking. Bosch 3 injectors seem to do this with or without a pulsator on batch fire systems

the procharger drowns out all slight noise issues
I'm running 42lb injectors from Ford Motorsport. Not sure who the manufacturer is with those.

Thanks again
Re: Fuel Pulsator Need?
No it's just a noise concern. If you're not worried about noise, then a tube will work fine. The straight tube worked fine on my setup... again, just the pulsation noise that bugged me.

Re: Fuel Pulsator Need?
I put a Bosch pump on my 88 a couple weeks ago, eliminated that pulsator and used the thick hose connector in its place. The Bosch pump is a turbine type pump rather than the gearotor standard pump and has a smoother flow. Your new performance pump might be the same basic construction?
