engine trouble please help!

Hey guys,I really need some help here. I recently swapped a 350 into my 89 rs which came with a v6. I used a 86 tpi setup with a new maf sensor and new accel 26lbs\hr injectors. I had the engine running and was going through all the wiring problems(finding sensors and so on) Well the engine was running great but now it's really running bad. It doesn't seem to want to rev up and it is smoking badly from the passenger side(black smoke with fuel smell). If you try to give it gas it sputters badly. Right now its to cold here to do much but I would like to a few ideas to check first. The engine was completely rebuilt bored .030 with keith black hypereutetic pistons, moly rings ,line honed with a new cast crank and federal mogul bearings. the block was decked and the heads(882 castings) were also completely rebuilt. I would really appreciate any thoughts, Ideas or suggestions about this. thanks guys

Your killing the motor withte 26lbs injectors. If its a 305 computer thats set of r19lbs and a 350 was with 22lbs. I know of a guy who had a built 406 with the 305 Computer and 24lbs injectors and he was having the same problem until he got a bunrt chip.

I know those aren't the best injectors for my combo but they were a great deal. My problem is that the car ran great for a while but I went to start it one morning to move it and boom, it ran terrible.

You say you got 26lbs Accells, were they new? Sounds like an injector or more are staying open on the side that's smoking. You may have shorted out the injector harness also, causing the injectors to stay open. When I put the injectors in my car, 24 lbs Accells by the way, the number 2 injector was stuck open. I dropped fuel pressure then went out and drove the hell out of it for 5 minutes. Took it back home and it cleared up, so I raised the fuel pressure back to 42. It was bad enough that the primary pipe on the header was getting damp, not cool
