Firehawk Experts? Need Part

I'm looking for a T-RAM intake that was on the 1992 Pontiac

Firehawk.

Contacted SLP, they had a fire that destroyed thier stock and

blueprints. And of course they wont be making any T-Ram's.

Any idea's on where I could find this item?

New guy, huh? The fate of the T-Ram is kind of common knowledge, not to knock you or anything. Unfortunately, you'll never find one, like, ever. I've heard that when you break the numbers down though, the modern technology of the SuperRam or MiniRam would blow the old T-Ram out of the water anyway, and would probably cost about the same if it were still being made, so I'd say look for one of those.

Or even swapping a LT1 intake for an even cheaper price and will feel almost like a miniram.

I found an article awhile ago that said the Super Ram produces 3 more foot pounds of torque than the T-ram. So that or a Mini Ram is; as stated better and WAY more abundant than the T-ram.

it would cost them a lot to draw up some blue prints. and for what they are busy with the ls1 cars for now I would think that they or who ever made it would still have the molds but, who knows maybe now they will make it again. or at least a better one.

specs

This site actually states that the T-Ram has 46 more horse power

than stock TPI and 6 more horsepower than the super ram.

Reno not to knock you or anything but settle down. The guy didnt know.

There are no stupid questions only stupid answers
and
There are no stupid questions, just inquisitive idiots.

Finally SLP lost the T ram in a warehouse fire.. everything was lost boo hoo sad story.
The thing is, they were made late in the production in the 3rd gen and re creating them didnt make sense financially. Also they had the lts come in and they needed to spend r&d on new tools and toys.
So T-RAMS are impossible to get, this is the bottom line, they make enough money from lt1/ls1 products anyways.

6hp isnt enough to waste your time trying to track down a T-ram, and then paying the price to get it. IIRC it was the most expensive manifold available when they were still selling it in the aftermarket. And if you were looking for something smog legal, the T-ram wasnt 50-state approved anyway.

The Superram is made by Accel, the Miniram by TPIS. Pretty sure if you do a web search you can find them for sale. TPIS has a website. Better sit down before you ask/look for the price.

I've seen used superrams, base and all go in the $650 range. Used minirams with fuel rails and injectors in the $1000 range (I know; I sold one).

I even saw an used superram fairly cheap recently.

If you really want miniram but can't hack the big price, John Millican on this board modifies LT1 manifolds for use on standard SBC. I've heard good things about this relatively inexpensive combo.
