Looking to help someone with their project
I've learned so much from this site over the last few years and about to be in a place where I have a good running lb9 laying around. My wife bought me a vortec crate 5.7 and I'm going carb and big cam. The lb9 is still in my trans am and probably will be another 2 months until I get all my other parts together for the swap. I will keep all the accessories, oil pan and pulleys. I'm in Alabama and I would like to donate this lb9 to a young person who may be just getting into the hobby or maybe someone who's funding might be limited. If you are looking to make a dime please don't waste my time as I just want to give back to our community. Hit me up if I can help.

Thanks Qwk Trip, I've gotten so much help with my GTA on here that is hard to get on the FB pages and thought this would be the best place to pay it forward.

I have exactly the same situation here in Portland, OR. I posted it in the for sale section a while back (for free). I have dyno sheets when it was in my Trans Am:

Re: Looking to help someone with their project
Wow this would've been super helpful to me when I got my car when I was 14 (20 now). I had a generous person like yourself give me a ton of parts for cheap for the same reason; to help a younger guy out. God bless you man, I can tell you as a younger guy in this hobby that I remember all the names of the people that gave me better deals and gave me stuff for free just to help out. Whoever ends up getting this will remember you and will tell stories about you giving them that lb9 for years. Good luck to you my friend, I love to see it.

Thank you for the kind words. You nailed with God Bless. I don't usually share my political views or my beliefs on forums but as a Youth Pastor I believe this world needs to know especially in these times is God indeed Blesses, not us but Him. Wished I could have hooked you up when you needed it. Also a good feeling to know that the younger generations dig these cool old cars. Best of luck and keep this hobby going to the generation after you my friend.

Man, you did a good thing. God Bless you. I got some decent parts that need a good home. I'm now thinking of giving them away for free. Thanks for the idea.
