1991 Camaro Z28 Fuel Pump not Priming

Have not drove the car in a year or two but after a while unable to get it started and keep it running. It will turn over with carb fluid but doesn't stay on. Before jumping to cutting out my trunk and dropping a new fuel pump anything I can check quickly? I always used to be able to hear that buzzing when I turned on the ignition but not any more.

5.7 stock, as far as I know the fuel pump has never been changed. 150k miles.

Re: 1991 Camaro Z28 Fuel Pump not Priming

Check fuse by battery,
Check fuel psi
Check injs with noid light for pulsing
Put 12v on the test connector at fuel pump relay and see if that kicks the pump on..
Check 12v at connection at body and pump area. Right in front and above rearend.

If the car has sat for awhile with low fuel in the tank (outside esp) you may be dropping the tank to clean it out.

Thanks for all of that!
As for the fuse by the battery, do you mean the fuse that branches off the (taking a guess here) negative terminal grounded to the car?

The ground wire isn't fused, the power fuse is in a holder bolted to the car. It's for the fuel pump/ECM.

Applying 12 volts to pin G on your ALDL connector should turn on the pump
