Hi there

i did a engine swap on my 88 305 tpi camaro. i put in a 350 sb out of a 86 corvette with tpi. now the engine runs quite good, but not perfect. when the engine is reaching normal temp. idle begins to wave down and up and it runs way to rich. i changed the injectors, the sparkplugs, the knock sensor, the esp module, the distributor incl. cap & rotor and and put in a new programmed prom. if i disconnect the airflow sens the engine runs just better in limp mode. in my understanding is this a sign for a bad airflow sens. would you agree? what do you think about the granatelli adjustable airflow sensor?

You don’t need a adjustable maf delphi is a good replacement. What are grams per second showing maf plugged in ?
maf disconnected code 33 or 34 ?
runs off tps input

 

What codes are you geting?

 

I Have no Codes. It just idles unstable if the engine is hot and it runs that rich you can smell it....
