Re: Chasing my tail

Does it run better with vacuum line disconnected but plugged? (Higher fp, just no vacuum leak)
give a rundown of your symptoms again please

Despite being delphis sounds like you need a afpr or a tune . It sounds lean if surging.

Re: Chasing my tail

The ECM has an integrator to SLOWLY write the updated to the BLM. Since it was started with the FPR in "bypass" mode, it may be worthwhile to disconnect the ECM power to clear everything and let it re-learn with everything connected correctly.

Can this be accomplished by disconnection the battery?

Re: Chasing my tail

One method is to disconnect the battery. If you have a radio with presets and would rather avoid setting that up again, another method would be to remove the 20A inline ECM/FP fuse located near the battery. As long as the ignition is off, pulling that fuse should remove any ECM backup power.
