Does anyone know if it will, cause the mini-ram and SuperRam are too expensive for me. The base manifold and Runners won't be stock and would be a ported edelbrock/SLP combo.

Not to steer you away from upgrading the TPI but have a look here and see if you would like to try or get info on the LT1 intake swap.

Hmmm looks pretty tricky and i don't think id want to do it myself!! I have a question though. Do you reuse the fuel rails from the TPI or do you need LT1 fuel rails? It's something to think about though! and it looks cheaper then the mini-ram and i could say i have a 406sml blk LT1.

You use the LT1 fuel rails.

The Mini Ram is made by TPI Specialties. www.tpis.com

P.S. hold on to your shorts when you see how much they want for it. Then you have to buy the fuel rails, etc. About $1200

If you are talking about a dyno comparing the LT1 to a Miniram, I would bet that they would come out very close. I say this, even though I recently purchased a Miniram. (I had made the deal a year ago and purchased it before John had done his LT1 conversion).

FYI, some of the more sophisticated "computer dyno programs" which have specific intakes to chose from (more specific than Desktop Dyno 2000), actually spec the LT1 virtually identical to the Miniram. That's how close the two are.
