Ok, here's the deal. '91 GTA, 305, 6-spd and 3.42's. Mods, TES 1-5/8", air foil, no cat, 3" with cutout, Holley pump, AFPR, Ported plenum, K&N, and all the little stuff. I have a '88 L98 that I'm building. I was originally going to port my L98 heads, use the ZZ4 cam and run it basically like that... like Kevin91z did I think. Now I've traded some stuff for a LT4 hot cam and don't know what to do. Can ported L98 heads handle a LT4 hot cam. Will I have to have them machined for springs and the top of the valve guides (clearance) Any info ia GREATLY appreciated. What springs can I use with the LT4 hot cam?? ZZ4 springs? Also, can I use the stock rocker arms with either of these cams?? Thanks for the info. I plan on doing some tuning (PROM) afterwards also.

* I also thought about doing the LT1 intake, L98 heads, and a LT4 hotcam with tuning and all my othe boltons. WOuld this run decent, and good once tuned?? Anyone done this. THANKS!!!!!

 

Forgot something... if I run the ported L98 heads, LT4 hot cam, & regular TPI(not LT1) I was gonna siamese the intake and possibly run SLP runners. Thats is for now. All mods are in my website.
