With what should he start ???
Open up his stock intake?keep the injectors?58TB?.....

man u dont need a super ram to run 13's. check my post, im in the high-mid 13's with only exhaust and small stuff. But since u do have one.......new heads and cam to match would be in order. Maybe some aluminum L98 heads and a zz4 cam or something. That should get u low 13's high 12s if you have all that pus the stuff in my sig at least. converter and built trans is the secret

What does this have to do with Nitrous or Forced Induction? Moved to the TPI forum...

1) As somebody else said, I believe any 350 TPI equiped F-body can easily run in the 13's with just some subtle modifications such as a good torque converter, sticky tires and good cool air and fairly unrestrictive exhaust.

2) To expect low 13's.... good torque converter and sticky tires.

3) To go 11's, good set of heads ported out to 260/190 cfm by .550 lift, LPE 74219 cam, good tune, sticky tires, good 2800-3000 rpm torque converter, keep an eye on your weight..... stock shortblock, nothing more is necessary.

Take a look at the following link to see examples of decent running TPI and LT-1 Vettes..... all they do also apply to the F-body.... only real difference is the shape of body, and the vettes on average probably have a 100-150 lb weight advantage vs the F-body... but thats it.

Proven L98 & LT-1 set-ups

hope this kinda helps
Todd

How fast do you want to go????? Oh wait it still boils down to how much money you have to spend! Definately get either the Accel or Edelbrock lower intake. Get some nice aluminum heads....AFR if you have the money....maybe Trick Flows or aluminum L98's. Get a 58mm TB and a good ignition system.
After that I would focus on the torque converter and the suspension. These should be your limiting factors after the above engine mods.
