best spark plugs. please read
I really enjoy posting questions on the message board. My new question is what plugs are you guys running and why? My '88 GTa 350 was diagnoised today at Smog Diagnostic Specialists and found my engine and sensors to be in excellent condition.
They say I had burnt spark plug wires and hammered plugs. They also said that was another reason why my engine ran hot. What do you think about that?they recommend a top end cleaner service for $45.I put in supreme Chevron gasoline and Valvoline complete fuel cleaner($9 a bottle), but they say it wont do much. The diagnostic cost me $120 but I felt it was worth knowing the condition of my engine.Which plugs last longest, create a better combustion and are proven to perform the best. All opinions welcomed.

For a stock motor you cant beet good ol AC's and a AC/Packard wire set. Also GM uses chevron Techron as there FI cleaner in a tank, just a differant label.

I agree that AC delco spark plugs are fine for any stock application but there are certainly better wire sets out there than delcos. MSD, Taylor, and splitfire wires are all good ones although you might not want to spend that much.
yeah i like em A/C delco's as well..
i use the a/c delco's rapid fire spark plugs, of couse they got a larger gap, but i think they do improve gas milage, and possibly a lil more hp ...but i doubt you'll feel the total improvement
unless your plugs are completely shot...
