1996+ cobra injectors
put the svo injectors on tuesday, very easy to install but busted a few knuckles in the process. I rescheduled the motor swap for the 23rd of this month so I don't know how good they are yet but every person I talked to about this said this is the way to go.........

Did you put on 1986-1993 SVO's or the 1996+ cobras? I have been running the SVO's in a TPI setup. I was wondering how different the Cobra injectors were.
Thanks,

If they are 24# and earlier than 1996 then they are "SVO"s (Ford Racing injectors) and not Cobra injectors. I have been searching the web for info. on the Cobras.....nothing yet. I'll post what I find.

Yeah, those are the "SVO"s.....pretty good deal Summit has on them.
I missed out a Cobra injector deal, but know it has me wondering.

Thanks alot man, i was origanlly gonna go with the Acells but a lot of people told me to stay away from thier products anymore, so i went with the ford racing ones. Have you noticed a considerable difference over stock with your SVO's? I just got mine on monday along with a Holley AFPR and the cars been in the shop getting dual exhaust on it all week, so i havnt had time to play with my new toys.

I have nothing against Accel products. I don't know why, but for some reason they all look like poor quality. Maybe it is that cheesy brown color they put on everything. They are associated with Mr Gasket, and all they seem to make is poorly plated chrome brackets. Ford has quality injectors. As for my rig, I did get a noticable gain. My old injectors were 19# with fuel pressure at 52 psi and a custom PROM. I knew it wasn't the right way to do it but that's all I had at the time when I put the TPI on my engine. It got me by for a year.
