Cooling fan switch& Temp gauge swtich

Is the sensor in the drivers side cylinder head the temparature switch? and would the one in the passenger side head be the coolant fan switch. If they are those switches are those there correct names?

i don't know about the sensor on the drivers side, but I just swapped out my coolant fan switch and it was on the passenger side. This was for a 92Z with the 5.0.

Just so you don't confuse anyone when you're talking about those:

"Sensors" are typically ECM related. "Senders" are typically gauge related. And "switches" are just that: on/off according to it's function.
