Car stalled after donut.

We went out to get our first pictures of our IROC yesterday and I wanted a pic with me doing a burnout. Instead of driving out of the burnout I hit the brakes to just stop and when it did the car stalled. What could have caused this? Maybe the car rolled backwards and stalled the motor? Its an auto though...

You did a 92 MPH burnout in your DRIVEWAY?!?!
Wow, that's a recipe for a meal I like to call "Car-flambe, served hot right through your living room front window."

LBC: If you were doing a DONUT I can understand how the car stalled. Fuel slosh would move the fuel away from the pickup, and seeing as your TPI car has a fairly fast fuel pump stock, it probably emptied a part of the lines quickly. Enough to stall it, certainly.
If you were doing a BURNOUT, then I'm not too sure how your car stalled. Do you suppose the TC locked up, and didn't have time to unlock before the wheels stopped?

Thats what I was thinking too, only logical thing. Figure, your goin from that ever mph your wheels are doin to zero in like a second... I never had the donut/fuel problem though, so I really cant say.

I dont know how much gas it had in it but it is an 87 and it doesnt have the baffles in the tank so I think it was that. I'll just have to fill it up and do some more doughnuts!

My 87 Iroc stalled after doing donuts too, you can see it in the 2nd video in the movies section, watch at the end as it stalls!

'87 IROC, w/ out baffels...

You starved your car of fuel during the donut, that's what caused the stall.

back when I was 16 I was doing some donuts in a parking lot and car ran like crap for the next day or two. Turned out a plug wire came off. Don't know how that knocked it off, but it did.
