Not stupid...

If we didn't ask questions we wouldn't learn anything
The LT4 Hot Cam is a cam made my GM. You can purchase it from almost any dealer, providing they are willing to order it for you and your willing to pay their price. Jegs carries it as a special order item. Overall Scoggin Dickey had the "best" price on the LT4 Hot Cam when I purchased it, I bought my LT4 Hot Cam for about $180. Let us all know if you find it cheaper and where!

Save yourself some heartache and learn to use the search function. (upper right of the screen) The LT4 cam has been discussed a bunch of times and you will be able to find more info than you can imagine. Some people will really rip into you here if you ask a question that has been asked before.

BitchinCamaro, has a good point. I have had many of my questions answered and then some by just searching the boards. Some are more volitile that others. But in any case welcome to the board and I hope that you found all of our posts useful

Screw looking for the Hotcam new. Theres a hundred and one people out there trying to get rid of one. Search the classified, search 4th gen sites. You're going to find one for a descent price eventually.

Look over at camaroz28.com, I don't know how many times I have seen in the classifieds "Lt4 hot cam, only run 100 miles, not big enough for me, complete kit, cheap!" or some variation of that.

Another thing about searches, sometimes I see posts here where someone responds with an incorrect or incomplete answer, and the questioner takes it as pure truth. You rarely see the whole picture from the one or two responses an average post gets.

Yeah, and the searches don't work as good as they used to. Something's up with them, 'cause I'll be looking for a post I read recently, and I'll remember a phrase verbatim out of the body or the subject and it won't come up no matter how I input it.

Thanks for the info guys. And thanks for not ragging on me about it. I'm still learning my way around in here and i'm happy to know there are people who are willing to help.

Just trying to earn some respect from the rest of you.
