i removed my canister along with AIR pump and cats and did not get any codes. just put a rubber cap on the tb where the hose use to go to from the canister.

Yeah I agree...No on the rubber cap...You basically have 2 choices...1 vent the tank through a vented gas cap or 2 Vent the tank..
I first tried the vented gas cap idea...Its a pita and did not work well...Its a pita because the only vented gas cap you can buy is one where you tighten it then turn 3/4 of a turn off to vent it....The idea is to keep the hiss controlled not to be a VENT.... Well the pita is remembering too turn it to vent everytime you get gas... PLUS I found that with a full tank it would spray fuel on the side of the car....
Here is what I did...works great...Remove the metal line.....At the gas tank there was a rubber hose that attaches to the metal line....Get an IMPORT fuel filter...Plug the fuel filter into the rubber line.....Then run a hose down pointing at the ground from that....This will vent it peerfectly YET the filter will kill off any gas smell from the line...
Another more ghetto way to do it is to Keep the metal line and just attach a fuel filter and a hose to the underside of the front bumper.....
Ive never had it LEAK fuel BUT Just make sure ypou dont route the line towards exhaust...Better safe than dead..

thank you zepher, someone didnt read my post thoughly. i installed new lines inmy 91z28 project and never even out a vapor line in the car. i just put the feed and eturn line. the vent tube just runs down the tank and hangs in the bacj near the rearend.
