Find someone that knows what they're doing. I would stay away from anyone that would do it for $20 and a six pack, because if it is shimmed incorectly, you are gonna get premature wear, and a loud whine. It happened to a buddy of mine who has an lt1, and it really sucks.

Richmond gears = $200
Installation kit = $100
Labor = $200
The only other cost is the posi (I got mine on sale for $300). So $700 is not a bad price depending on what parts you get.
Whatever you do, take it to a shop that is reputable and will stand behind their work. Get some opinions first. Good labor can cost good money. I've paid through the nose for some work from my mechanic but I have never had any problems after my car was fixed.

About the six pack of beer and 20 buck install? whats wrong with that? i personally save the beer for afterwards, no drunk gear installation, esp when presses are involved. and the 20 bucks should cover things like gaskets and sealer, maybe diff fluid. Shops around here charge about 1k for a diff rebuild with gear install you can save about 600 in labor costs if you just do it yourself. not hard, also a note. gears are worn together from the factory,*** i forget the name of the machine that does it (patented machine/process), but yeah they are worn together so make sure you line them up the way they were intended, this doesnt apply to some gear ranges, just because some gear ranges are what is called non hunting, semi hunting care a little more hunting gear sets/ranges will create all kinds of noise, shimming, is damn easy the pinion tells youhow thick a shim it needs, i wont go into specifics about setting up side shims/bearing preload because different types of diffs use mostly the same procedure, but....not the same components neccessarily, what i might call a case might be a housing to you, or a carrier to me might be your case. but regardless that as well is REALLY easy....buy a pinion depth tool, about 100 bucks voila you can do gears....also by the way 4.10s are loud, they wear out fast and well did i mention they are loud?
