Th 350

I am installing a TH 350 in my Trans Am. I bolted down the bellhousing bolts and went to do the crossmember and noticed that the stud on the mount is way off from the slot in the center of the crossmember. Is that normal, if not what should I do?

they make a bracket that is about 80 bucks in jegs that will cure that. it is a 700r4-th350 change. their is a mounting difference in the torque arm or something like that. the bracket fixes that problem.

U need to go to the junkyard & find a 82-84 camaro/firebird with the V6 & 3 speed 200metric trans. This car has the correct crossmember for your conversion. If u look under your car there's two sets of holes for mounting crossmembers. Buy the crossmem from the yard & be happy!

PS: dont for get the 3speed console from the donor car!
