i gotta friend that has a 90 camaro RS and we were racing the other night and we were about the same until we got up to about 100 cuz i had to let off to let it shift into overdrive and he comes flying past me.......i asked him if he ever has to let off and he says no......so what then heck is wrong with my tranny and how could i fix it so it will shift without me having to let off to 1/2 throttle?......

 

jegs sells some kind of kit that will let the thing shift an WOT, ive never used it, but they do make it.

BTW, yur a F*cking itiot for racing at 100mph, I promise, you WILL NOT SURVIVE if you hit ANYTHING going that fast.

I once saw a honda get smashed by another car that was going about 100 while trying to outrun the cops(they stole the car, the cops were chasing them) and let me tell you, seeing the ladys head split open with her brains all over the car made me re-evaluate my driving habits.
Another 5 seconds earlier, and that schoolteacher lady that had her head crushed would have been me.

So do yourself and every other driver a favor and dont drive that fast, cuz there is really no need for it.

 

Makes a shift improver kit, you can find it on this website under the technicial part... as for racing @ 100mph, im surprised ure car didnt shake itself to death at that speed =P

 

alright thanks for the info on the parts........and im not a crazy driver....i will let off when i think im going too fast...........we raced for about a mile long on a smooth country road and thats why we got up to about 100.....its not like we were running 100+ for a couple miles........i like racing from 0-60 a lot better than racing from a rolling start to 100 or whatever.......im not into high speed....especially since my car has 3.73's....it doesnt really go that high of a speed i just guessed 100....my speedo only goes up to 85......
