Stupid Question

Ok so I have a new tranmission and T/C. So how do I fill it up (torque converter I mean) do I just pour the fluid in the tranny as usual, and let it circulate into the converter? Or do I pour it into the converter before putting it on the trans, and then fill the trans, once it's all bolted up

Pour some fluid into the converter before you put it on the tranny. Fill the tranny before you start it up.
