Not going to happen, I don't think.

My friend ordered one, and it took about a week to build it and a week for it to get there.

Do they build to order? As in, do you tell them your engine config and gearing and they'll set the governor correctly and such? I've never ordered an automatic, just curious as to how the process goes. And yes, I'm getting it from Pro-Built... probably in August.

Yep,Dana(the guy that owns ProBuilt) builds the trannys how you want it. Spends lots of time with each customer to make sure your getting what you want. He make a great tranny and is great to deal with. I'll never buy another automatic tranny from anybody else as long as Dana's in buisness.:hail: :hail: :hail: ProBuilt

Not going to happen, mine took 5 weeks to get here. Seems to be a good tranny (shifts well), but I don't have any other experience with an aftermarket tranny.

Mine also took a while...like 4 weeks...cause a part was on back order and he got 5 orders in a week. (All tax refunds I think )

Anyway...mine is going to be installed coming up and i look forward to it. Dana does spend a lot of time asking about your combo to make sure you get/have a good convertor too. That is just as important IMHO as the transmission is a system and the converter can definitely hurt you if you have a stock-type converter. I bought an ACT 2600 stall for my 406...should be cool.

How much for a 700-R4 with not a whole of go fast goodies....basically w/ a shift kit and vette servo?
