Car: 91 rs
Engine: Carbed 355 CR 9:1 xr276 cam
Transmission: 700r4 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Gear Swap

I have a 91 rs TBI(l03). I want to get the SLP take off POsi unit and a set of 3.42 gears. What will I need to have done to my car will they both just slide right in do I have the proper axels etc.. for it???

Engine: 5.7 TPI; 5.0 TBI; ZZ4/T56 on the ag
Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
You're good to go. Just need to have it installed and pay for labor and install kit. Just make sure your gears, if getting new ones, are for a 3 series carrier.

Whats the difference between 2 and 3 series carriers?

The difference is which gears fit them. The slp posi is series 3 which works for 3.23 and lower(numberically higher) gear ratios. Series 2 works for 3.08 and higher(numberically lower) gear ratios.
