trans cooler install

I read the tech article on this but was thinking about mounting the cooler onto the two 1/4 inch or so bars that cross each other about 5 or 6 inches in front of the condensor. Does anyone think that I would get sufficient airflow in this location. It would seem to be a little easier then putting it between the radiator and condensor and I think I could fit a bigger one also. Let me know your opinions.

Tom, that's where I put mine (B&M) 6 years ago. Seemed like the logical place. No problems with overheating, engine or tranny, so far.
