They for sure came in almost every mid-70's TransAm, I had a 76 and 2 78's that only came with B-W Super T-10, and Hurst shifter stock.

Jester, be careful with the late C3 ones. Those were known as the 4+3 (Super T-10 with electric overdrive at the tailshaft) and I've heard that that particular version wasn't very strong, with or without the overdrive part attached.

Also, you may check some of the early 70's Mustangs too, I believe some of them were equipped with it also.

Later, gator!

Yeah, as far as direct (or nearly so) bolt-ins, the 70s F cars and Vettes are about it.

75-81 trans am and z28 got it, make sure its a 400 t/a or formula and a Z28 350 camaro. otherwise it will have a crappy saginaw. if you want a really nice trans i have a Muncie M-21 fully rebuilt ready to go for 800$, its twice as strong as a ST-10. also good luck finding one in a junkyard, i have never found one even in a yard.

Actually some '82 Z28's and T/A's came with T10 manuals in them from the factory,my Z still has the original T10 in it,has been rebuilt a few years ago now.Whether or not it is a super T10 or not I have no idea, how can you tell the difference between a super and a non??The rest of the early third gens with manuals got cursed with those great saginaws!!
