axle removal help

I just picked up a rear end with a limited slip differential and I need to remove the axles to replace the bearings and seals. (I'm too cheap to pay someone to do this). Does anyone know where to find good instructions on how to do this. The manual is pretty vague. Thanks

If a 10 bolt, remove the diff cover, look in the center, you will see a large pin. Theres a small (I think 8mm head) bolt that retains this pin. Remove the bolt, slide the pin out. Then (If your brake stuff is off) push in on an axle, the c clip will usually fall right off, then you can remove it. Repeat for other side.

If 9-bolt:

Remove brake hardware and remove 4 bolts retaining the plate to the axle tube. Pull axle (No need to remove cover)

stop: The cross pin retaining bolt is a 5/16. MAKE sure you use a small 6 sided socket, all others will quickly strip this bolt. Move the posi around til you get the best angle on that bolt. Don't use an open end wrench til this bolt is lossened.
Good luck
