took my camaro for a test drive today with the new motor and my trasmission wouldnt shift out of first. Basically i was reduced to driving around at 15 mph the whole way. It jsut wont shift. I got it to shift once when the rpms got up to around 3000. When it did shift it was nothing short of brutal. I couldnt for the life of me get it to shift into second again. I checked the atf and it was fine. Right on the mark. Whats wrong? Is my transmission toast? Bad valve body? It ran fine before the swap and now its stuck in first.

 

opps... must of snagged the tv cable real good or somehting when i was working on the car. just saw that the crimp poped off the end of the cable and it pulled out of the connector. Guess ill buy a cable crimp or soemthing and fix it.
