I have been trying to track down a nasty loss of power between 1500-2000 RPM's for 2 weeks now and can't find it. I thought it was engine related, but have since basically rebuilt the ignition system, checked all of my sensors, and checked the fuel system.

Now I'm thinking maybe I have a problem with my newly rebuilt tranny?? When I have the loss of power the car will drop 500-1000 RPM's and the power won't really kick back in until after 2000 RPM's. It seems to do it in all gears including OD I think. The trans is full of fluid. Is there anything transmission related that could be causing this problem??? Maybe a problem in the valve body?? It's a 700R4 by the way. Is there any way that I can test the tranny operation??
