very early/soft shifts after intake/tranny cooler install WTF?

ok i just installed a edelbrock TBI intake and a perma cool tranny cooler. i readjusted my TV cable and it didnt help much. at WOT it will not kick down like it used to and it will shift at about 3k or so. i have no power at all because the RPM go up very slowly. Im confident the intake was done properly because ive done it before without problems. i really think it has something to do with the position of the TBI on the intake. i noticed the edelbrock intake sits further back...whats up??

Adjust TV cable again. My friend's pickup acted the same-
soggy shifts and no kickdown. We set the cable as per
Transfixleo's instructions and the problem was gone

Check your fluid level, as well as TV cable adjustment.

i had to add about half a quart to it. i knew i would since i added the tranny cooler. i adjusted it to max tv like it says to do in my trans-go shift kit video. but with the pedal to the floor it wont go all the way to full throttle. the intake sits further back...i had to bend the fuel lines to get them to fit

If its a new intake, did u make sure the guy put the right throttle linkage on it? Some of them (Edelbrock), need a special kickdown linkage for the 700R4's... This could be yer problem...
