do you want the length from u joint to ujoint?, let me know where you want it measured from and i can do it tomorrow, cuz at the moment, my drive shaft is out, along with the rest of the drive train

3" shorter than the ones with a TH200.
It's somewhere around 45". I don't have the exact measurement handy. No other GM vehicle has the same driveshaft length as a third gen. You measure from the center of the u-joint to the center of the u-joint.

The problem I see with that is it doesn't have the diameter or what type of U-Joints it uses. I would definatly e-mail him and see what car it came out of.... listing is very vague.

It states 'yolks not included' so it must be stripped down to just the shaft.... No trans slip yolk.....
Not all u-joints have the same size bearing cups. Of course there are 'hybrid' joints that can adapt one size on the yolk to another on the shaft...
Prolly better off grabbing one from a wrecking yard. Any 3rd or 4th gen aluminum shaft will work. 1LE's have them.... Even my '88 Formula came with one stock although they are more common in the 4th gens due to GM's recall on vibration it seems everyone is getting a 'freebie' shaft from GM, U-joints, yolk and all.
