1 Pint Is?

I checked my tranny fluid, and I need to add some. It says "1 PT" which is 1 pint I assume....What the hell is one pint in litres? And from the looks of it, I pour it down the tube the dipstick came out of?

Also, I assume the bubbles I saw on the dipstick are a really bad thing?

1qt = 1 litre. So I guess maybe pour in 1/3 of a litre, drive a little more, then check the level again and add a little more if necessary?

keep in mind that overfilling a tranny is more harmful than being underfilled a little. check fluid when trans is hot hot after driving letting trans shift alot stop andf go.

good luck
