wild idea.....
i doubt we will try this but,
my step dad has a 83 1 ton crew cab dually, it has a 454, and 4.10 gears, it gets 5 mpg on a good day, it sits all the time because of this. oderdrive would probly help alot.
i have my 700r4 from my firebird, has about 10-12k miles on it, how long would it last?????
the trucks engine is a rebuilt long block from napa, maybe 15k miles on it, only mods are headers, holley 750, and an edelbrock performer intake
incase anyone wonders the truck scales at about 6100lbs, with no load

Would depend a lot on how much you plan to tow behind it. With a good tranny cooler it shouldn't die TOO quick but it won't last forever. If the tranny had the extra clutches and some of the other hipo parts it might last a little longer under a load.

yeah, thats what i figured, this idea will probly never happen, but if it did, the most the truck would ever pull is single flat bed car trailer.
