Wanna see a Wild Custom Interior Job?

I'm new to the board here. I've been hanging out on another one with a bunch of older guys, and they really don't like my interior job. "Oh, too wild for me" I figured I'd see what my fellow 3rd gen drivers think about it. The link to my site in in the sig, and just click on the 'Custom Interior' link on my page. Hopefully you guys like it

Nate

nice to see you know how to make your own customizations.
the link needs to lose the "P" at the end and it will work fine.

even though I might not want that for my interior...looks CLEAN..VN

WOW, I like it alot. I don't think I would be able to drive in it though, my eyes would wander off into the little designs in the grey and black. Very good job.

I'm only 21 and I gotta admit, its too much. It looks good just being on the instrument cluster and all, but I think doing all of the trim was a little much, especially the dash pad with the mailbox camaro lettering. Not to rip on you or anything. It is different though and I like that especially on the camaros...

it's definately unique. not really up my alley, but I can appreciate the work that went into it. How did you get your dash so glossy black. Did you repaint it too or is that just Armor-All? I'm thinkin of pulling my dash too when I repaint the rest of the interior plastic, if it'll look that good I deffinately will paint it.

Its too much for me, but unique. I like seats, but I think the door panels are a bit much. No offence, my interior, the drivers seat is ripped to hell. So i really have no room to complain.

Keep up the creativity....

Yep, definately the Armor-All.

-By the way, thanks for all the comments guys. I was hoping a few more of you would like it though. Oh well I love it. Also, in case any of you were wondering, I wasn't the one that did the job. The person that had the car before me did it, and entered it into a lot of car shows. As surprising as it may sound to some of you, he won quite a few. I think the interior is what attracted me most to the car. Hmmm...

I respect the amount of work that went into that.... but it's not my style.... I want to do my interior over in black leather... I want to wrap the door skins in leather... get some 4th gen leather seats... leather wrapped headliner etc.

Looks sweet dude!! I wouldn't mind that in my car at all had I not just finished repainting all my plastic pieces black Not overdone at all the only one thing I wouldn't have done is put that lettering about a quake or whatever on the back hatch and I wouldn't have put Camaro on the dash. But aside from that it is A+++++!

I kinda like it. A bit too much for me but I would've only done the dash & plastic on the door panels.

I saw a similar one in the wreckers too... & since dudelovett lives in Surrey, Chances are we saw the same car

Funny thing is my friends & family cal my car the "Black Widow" too

There's only one place around here (Sioux Falls) that I know of that does it. If you ever come over here, I'll call the guy I got it from and find out for you.

I am 42 years old, and I like it a lot.
That is creative and well done.
I think it is great you left the fabric alone so if you change your mind ... new plastics and back to stock.
i like the interior on the thirdgens a lot, but it is a lot of the same color and hue. Most camaro interiors are just plain basic and boring.

Sharp car!

its nice but not my cup of tea or mug of beer rather,i think it reminds me of 80s rock with girls and big hair and spandex pants, lol, but its different and goes good since your car is a black beauty,i would put in a grant steering wheel as the oe wheel looks out of place with the custom job and also some white faced guages would really set it off nice, just my .02.

i like it a lot too! i'm thinking about doing it o mine now. i've been throwing around different ideas and that looks like a pretty clean job.
i liked the "camaro" on the dash idea and might try it on mine but saying "trans am" and i would probably face it the other way and have it spaced out across the dash going with the curve of the windshield (speakers might pose problem though)
what was used to paint it? looks almost like "trunk paint" i see in old muslcecar dragsters

I'm not entirely sure, but I'm sure it was applied by small tinsels or something to get the webbed effect. Sorry, not too sure.
