Yo. New guy here.
I've got an 86 plane-jane Camaro with a 2.8l 5 speed. I want to put a bigger motor in (I've got a line on a 283, or another 2.8 with ram air and 4speed od auto.)
What I want to know is, if I just want to put in an auto trans how tuff is it? Will the 283 mount in easily, or do I have to make all kinds of mods.
My clutch was changed out last year but nothing done to the flywheel, so it's worn out again ( or I suppose that's the problem)
I figure if I gotta pull the tranny out again, now's the time to do any mod work, ya know!
